Home Repair Ministry
Adam Rudd describes it as “priceless”; the experience of watching the children’s faces as they walked into their newly painted bedrooms. He spent the day at a foster home, fixing a broken fence here and applying a wall decal there. He was familiar with the work, but the joy of seeing these children get that people really do care about them- that was a new and unforgettable encounter.
Adam is the leader of the Helping Hands Home Repair Ministry at The Rock Church in San Diego. The ministry provides home repairs for property owners who are unable to work on needed repairs and maintenance (i.e. persons who are elderly, disabled, or widowed).
Adam encourages his volunteers to recognize how we glorify the Lord by helping others. Providing costly repair services at no charge is unusual in a world where there’s no such thing as a free meal. This ministry is a powerful expression of the Gospel. We are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ when we get out there and DO something.

This is very good concept of volunteering services especially for the needy people. I am very much influenced by such helping attitudes. Any sorts of help for needy people such as maintenance, cleaning, packing; traveling is done by the home repair ministry. All these help is done by the government sector. Besides, there are so many private sectors as well for public services and some of the companies such as mister quick home service help to repair air conditioning and many more home related services, but not in free of cost.

Believe it or not, the things
Believe it or not, the things that cost you in your home, at least utilities, are electricity and water. Some minor home repairs can save you on usage, and therefore you'll save money. For instance, a leaky faucet or running toilet – both are things that can be repaired easily, cheaply, and will save you far more money that it costs you. Neither is a long operation, and certainly more cost effective than getting a short term loan to hire a plumber. Helping our family to earn money is one way of doing something in our our own way. Asking the help of our family is a big help for us.
