Work Ministry
As job losses escalate and employment prospects diminish, we can’t help but consider what we want in a job and why. To help answer such questions, there is Paige Cohen. Paige leads the Work Ministry at The Rock Church in San Diego. Her main role is to steer Christian professionals toward their vocational calling.
The Work Ministry helps individuals get connected with job opportunities through networking with other professionals and members of The Rock Church. Individuals are encouraged to find their vocational call through spiritual gifts testing, strength-finding exercises, prayer and discussion. Together they pray for one another through challenging professional situations, job transitions and searches. The Ministry also participates in church job fairs to connect employers and job seekers at the Rock.
Work is an integral part of our lives. Paige recognized the opportunity this ministry would provide to interact with a variety of people, and she decided to do something. She pledged to help others like herself receive guidance and support in their vocational ministry.
The purpose of the Work Ministry is to equip the body of Christ to find God’s vocational call in their life and to make that call their ministry. This ministry aims to provide a platform for companies and employers to make efficient use of the church's extensive resources and convene with Christian professionals.

Rapidly growing unemployment
Rapidly growing unemployment is the major problem of the world. There are so many reasons behind the unemployment such as over population, illiteracy etc. I don't know the best way to reduce the unemployment rate. Anyway, brilliant efforts can do the best to reduce the unemployment rate. Brilliant efforts means, to create job in various sectors. Information technology can also be the best sector just like The Call Center Group where many people are engage.
